No. Points sit in your account until you spend them. They are only deducted at the moment you redeem them for a discount.
No — and that is on purpose. A referred friend is charged straight away with their 20% off, instead of starting a 7-day trial. It is one or the other, never both: a discount cannot be shown on a payment that has not happened yet. Your own reward is unaffected either way.
Not on the same charge — one discount applies per payment. Early-bird pricing is already the bigger saving, so use it first and save your points for a renewal later.
