Who can use Avitl

You must be at least 16 years old to use Avitl. If you are under 18, you may only use Avitl with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

By using Avitl, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you meet these requirements.

How Avitl works, and what our estimates mean

Avitl helps you track your nutrition and fitness. It focuses on four key numbers — calories, protein, carbohydrates, and fats — and uses them, together with the profile details you provide (such as your age, height, weight, gender, activity level, and goal), to:

• estimate your daily calorie and macronutrient targets using standard, widely used formulas (for example, the Mifflin–St Jeor equation for calorie needs);

• generate personalized meal suggestions and meal plans built around those calorie and macro targets; and

• estimate a goal date or plan for reaching your target weight.

Everything Avitl shows you — including AI food and equipment recognition, nutrition values, calorie and macro counts, meal plans, workout plans, and estimated goal dates — is an estimate provided for general informational and educational purposes only. It is generated automatically from the data you enter and from standard formulas, and it may be approximate or incorrect.

Avitl does not provide medical, nutritional, dietary, or professional fitness advice, and is not a substitute for advice from a qualified doctor, dietitian, or trainer. Individual results vary and are not guaranteed.

Always use your own judgement, and consult a qualified professional before making significant changes to your diet, exercise, or lifestyle — especially if you are pregnant or nursing, under 18, elderly, or have any medical condition, allergy, eating disorder, or take medication. If you experience any pain, discomfort, or health concern, stop and seek medical advice. You use Avitl and rely on its estimates at your own discretion and risk.

Your account

Keep your account information accurate and your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.

Tell us at support@avitl.com if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

Subscriptions, trials, and payments

Avitl offers a free tier and a paid Premium subscription. We may offer a free trial; unless you cancel before it ends, a trial may convert to a paid subscription.

Payments are processed by our third‑party payment provider (such as Razorpay). We do not store your full card or banking details.

Prices, billing cycles, and the features included in each plan are shown in the app and may change with reasonable notice. You can manage or cancel your subscription as described in the app or through the relevant app store. Except where required by law or by the applicable app store’s policy, payments are non‑refundable.

Av Points are a loyalty reward with no cash value. They cannot be exchanged, transferred, or redeemed for money, and may be redeemed only for discounts on an Avitl subscription as described in the app, at conversion rates and limits we set and may change or discontinue at any time.

Acceptable use

Please use Avitl responsibly. You agree not to: use it for any unlawful purpose; attempt to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to the app or its systems; scrape or access it through automated means; reverse‑engineer or copy the app; upload unlawful or harmful content; impersonate others; or infringe anyone’s rights.

Your content

You keep ownership of the data and images you add — your meals, photos, and logs. You grant Avitl a limited licence to store, process, and display that content solely to operate and provide the app to you, including sending photos you scan to our AI providers for recognition.

You are responsible for the content you upload and confirm you have the right to upload it.

Our content and intellectual property

Avitl — including its name, logo, design, software, and content — belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a personal, non‑transferable, revocable licence to use the app for your own personal, non‑commercial use. You may not copy, resell, or otherwise exploit the app or its content.

Third‑party services

Avitl relies on third parties such as Google (sign‑in), our payment provider, our AI/model providers, and cloud hosting. Your use of those features may also be subject to their terms, and we are not responsible for third‑party services.

Disclaimers

Avitl is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted or error‑free operation. We do not warrant that nutrition data, AI results, or estimates are accurate or complete. The health‑related disclaimers above also apply.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Avitl and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any health outcome, loss, or injury arising from your use of, or reliance on, the app or its estimates. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the claim.

Suspension and termination

You can stop using Avitl and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or misuse the service.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will change the “Last updated” date, and significant changes may be notified in the app. Continuing to use Avitl after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India will have jurisdiction, without regard to conflict‑of‑law rules.
